Chamber drying / IPPC - ISPM 15 treatment

To satisfy the growing demand for exportable pallets, we have invested in 2005 into the first wood drying facility. This allows us the dryng of pallets for products with specific hygienic regulations
as well as implementation of the IPPC - ISPM 15 treatment. Herefor we are authorized by the supervisory and service directorate Rheinland-Pfalz, agricultural supervision and furtherance,
license number DE - RP2 - 49036 .

We offer our products chamber dried as well as IPPC-treated, certainly bearing in mind the required labelling and documentation.

To protect local forest stand against carry-over from wood affecting vermin, many countries have corresponding quarantine regulations. As a subordinate organisation of the UN, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) has issued the ISPM-15. Corresponding to that, wood package material has to be heated due to a specific time-temperate-plan and must reach a core temperature of 56 degree Celsius for at least 30 minutes.
